Explicação

Em times remotos, o small talk (conversa leve) acontece no início e no fim de calls, em chats e em mensagens fora de horário. O tom certo geralmente fica entre o estritamente profissional e o muito casual — friendly, mas não íntimo.

Tópicos seguros (safe ground) circulam com facilidade: o fim de semana, o clima, comida, séries, hobbies vagos, a cidade onde a pessoa mora. Tópicos para evitar (off-limits) em conversa profissional incluem política partidária, religião, salário, vida romântica, problemas de saúde detalhados e reclamações pessoais longas. A regra prática é: comente, não confesse.

Reaja a perguntas pessoais de forma curta e leve, e devolva a bola:

Humor leve funciona quando é self-deprecating, genérico ou claramente hiperbólico. Exemplos:
