Em B2, não basta falar inglês correto: é preciso reformular em tempo real quando uma frase saiu confusa, ambígua ou tecnicamente imprecisa. Em vez de travar, use um pequeno conjunto de expressões que sinalizam ao ouvinte que você está prestes a dizer a mesma ideia de outra forma.
O kit essencial de reformulação
- Let me rephrase that. — reformulação neutra, a mais comum em reuniões. Use quando a frase ficou longa ou ambígua: `Let me rephrase that. The latency is high because the cache is cold, not because the database is slow.`
- What I meant was... — correção de algo que saiu errado. Refere-se a uma frase anterior: `What I meant was that the test fails intermittently, not on every run.`
- What I'm trying to say is... — introdução de uma reformulação mais clara. Ajuda quando o ouvinte ainda não entendeu: `What I'm trying to say is that we don't need a new service, just a queue.`

A mecânica da reformulação
O movimento típico em uma reunião tem três partes:
- Sinalizar que você vai reformular (com uma das expressões acima).
- Pausar brevemente — uma vírgula ou um ponto firme.
- Reformular com uma frase mais curta, mais precisa ou mais simples.
Exemplo completo:

Erros comuns
