Objetivo

Usar os quantificadores some, any, a few, a lot of, enough, too much e too many para falar de tickets, bugs, traffic, memory e data, distinguindo substantivos contáveis e incontáveis.

Explicação

Os quantificadores servem para dizer quanta coisa existe. A escolha depende de o substantivo ser contável (pode ser contado um a um: `bug`, `ticket`, `alert`) ou incontável (não tem plural e não se conta: `traffic`, `memory`, `data`, `feedback`).

Quantidade pequena ou indeterminada

• `a few` + plural contável: `We have a few bugs in the queue.`
• `some` + contável ou incontável, em frases afirmativas: `There is some data in the report.`, `Some alerts fired overnight.`
• `any` + contável ou incontável, em negativas e perguntas: `We don't have any feedback.`, `Do you have any data from yesterday?`

Quantidade grande ou excessiva

• `a lot of` funciona com os dois tipos: `a lot of bugs`, `a lot of memory`.
• `too many` + plural contável para indicar excesso: `There are too many tickets open.`
• `too much` + incontável no singular para indicar excesso: `There is too much traffic on the API.`

Quantidade suficiente

• `enough` vem antes do substantivo e funciona com contáveis e incontáveis: `enough memory`, `enough tickets`, `enough data`.

Resumo rápido

Cuidado com a concordância: `There are too many bugs` (plural) e `There is too much traffic` (singular).

Erros comuns

• Trocar many por much: `There are too much tickets` deve ser `There are too many tickets` (tickets é contável).
• Trocar many por few: `We have too few memory` deve ser `We have enough memory` (memory é incontável, não usa few).
• Concordância errada: `There is too many bugs` deve ser `There are too many bugs` (plural depois de many).
• Usar some em negativa: `We don't have some feedback` deve ser `We don't have any feedback` (any em negativa).
• Colocar enough depois do substantivo: `We have memory enough` deve ser `We have enough memory`.

Repare que a forma do verbo (`is`/`are`) acompanha o quantificador: is com incontável, are com plural contável.

Use `a few` e `too many` com substantivos contáveis no plural; use `too much` com incontáveis no singular. `A lot of` e `enough` funcionam com os dois. `Some` aparece em frases afirmativas e `any` em negativas e perguntas.
