História: Responder perguntas hostis ou difíceis

Nível: C2

Case framing

In a family asking a difficult safety question, a clinical team examined a question about the response to an adverse event. The lead used “a loaded question” to make the grammar target precise while discussing the response to an adverse event. A colleague said: “I understand why the delay worries you; the short answer is that the date has not been confirmed.” The group checked the implications of the response to an adverse event against the available evidence before deciding.

Decision follow-up

When a concern surfaced, the team returned to “to acknowledge a concern” while examining the implications of the response to an adverse event. The lead added: “Could you clarify whether you are asking about cost or about who will be included?” Before closing, the facilitator linked “to clarify the premise” to the issue of the response to an adverse event, named an owner and set a review date. The decision kept evidence about the response to an adverse event visible while leaving room to revise the plan in the clinical context.
