Three days by the sea

Carolina and Paulo planned a three-day cultural trip to a coastal town. Their itinerary included a small museum, an old market, and a village festival. They chose a family-run guesthouse because it supported local residents. The train route was scenic, whereas the regional bus was cheaper. They chose the train and kept enough money in the budget for a special meal.

An unexpected delay

On the second morning, a delay kept the train at the station for an hour. If the train was cancelled, they could take the bus to the market. Instead, the train moved, and they arrived before the festival began. They asked before taking photographs and learned about a local custom from a resident. The flexible plan made the delay less stressful and the experience more worthwhile.
