História: Argumentar com evidências e ressalvas

Nível: B2

Contexto clínico

The clinic compared follow-up attendance before and after introducing text reminders. Based on the data, attendance appeared to have improved modestly. Although the sample was small, the trend was consistent across two weeks. The team agreed that the finding deserved further monitoring.

Raciocínio e decisão

The family’s report supported the attendance result. However, the report did not establish that the reminder caused the change. From my perspective, the intervention was promising but not yet proven. A limitation was that the comparison did not include every clinic.

Plano e acompanhamento

The recommendation was to continue the reminders for another month. The team would track attendance and ask patients about access barriers. If the benefit continued, the clinic could consider expanding the programme. The argument remained useful because it showed evidence and uncertainty.
