At the first meeting
Gabi is at the train platform in the morning. She says hello to Sara and says, “My name is Gabi.” She also repeats “owner” when Sara asks a friendly question. She is from Brazil, and she lives in Manaus.
A clear message
At a small table, she practices “have” and “'s” with a notebook. She asks about “and” and checks “but”, while Sara gives a clear example with “very” and “really”.
Before going home
Before she leaves, Sara writes a short message with “bigger”, “has”, and “smaller”. The sound is not clear, so Gabi asks, “Can you repeat that, please?” Then they smile, say goodbye, and go home.
