The trip
Last Saturday, Iris went to the small park in Goiânia for a weekend market. Before leaving, she checked “yesterday” and “weekend” in her notes, then remembered “last week”. The trip was easy, and she arrived before the activity began.
During the event, Iris noticed a small problem. She needed “was/were”, but the first person gave her “first” instead. She asked a simple question, listened to the answer, and chose a better option.

The result
After that, Iris talked with Mila. They used “worked” to describe what had happened and “last week” to talk about the next step. The delay was short, so everyone stayed calm.

At home, Iris told her family the beginning, middle, and ending of the story. She said that “event” and “then” were useful, and that “walking” and “watched” would help next time. She felt tired, but she was happy with the result.
